- Identify a champion on the healthcare side for every issue to be an advocate that will help encourage traction - they do not necessarily need to produce the work projects but they need to be a liaison that supports the work
- Create a mechanism for regular updates for your membership that way they know you are productive between meetings
- Don't launch meetings too early if you don't have a sense of next steps
- Keep groups on point - have agendas, tasks, responsible people and deadlines for getting the work done
